Our Mission
West Lancs Ark’s mission is to provide comprehensive support services to diverse communities, including Armed Forces personnel, ex-offenders, the unemployed, individuals experiencing homelessness and those struggling with substance misuse. Our primary focus is to empower our clients by facilitating access to housing, education, training, voluntary work and employment opportunities. We are committed to addressing drug and alcohol problems, mental health issues, debt management and navigating the benefits system. With a dedicated provision for ex-Forces personnel, we aim to ensure their smooth transition into civilian life, offering training, housing solutions and support with benefit claims. Collaborating with local organizations, including the local foodbank, we extend our support network to encompass benefit claims, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) applications, debt advice, employment law, welfare rights and health and safety matters, among other essential services.

Seeking assistance with affording food?
As a registered agency of the Trussell Trust, we provide Foodbank Vouchers to those in need. Reach out to our team for assistance, and you'll receive a parcel designed to last for 3 days. Collect it from your nominated foodbank.
Struggling with overwhelming debts?
Certainly. We provide support for various debts, including Council Tax and Rent arrears. Our services include debt advice and referrals to specialized agencies like debt management, Inclusions, Money Advice Team, and more.
